About the Course Programme

Our accredited programme of photography and digital media courses are held at our facilities in Chapter Arts Centre, Canton.  Classes are artist led and take place in small groups in an enjoyable informal atmosphere.  Students are encouraged to develop their ideas through a series of practical projects and illustrated talks exploring the impact of photography and digital media in a cultural and historical context.

Ffotogallery courses are run in association with Cardiff Metropolitan University (UWIC).

Students who submit their work at the end of each course and achieve a pass will receive 20 HE credits.

Students who have successfully completed three courses and obtained 60 HE credits can now apply for a certificate in Foundation Study in Photography and Digital Media issued by Cardiff Metropolitan University (UWIC).

Students who have successfully completed six courses and obtained 120 HE credits can now apply for a Continuing Education Award:  Photography and Digital Media issued by Cardiff Metropolitan University (UWIC).

Access

Ffotogallery’s teaching spaces are situated on the ground floor of Chapter Arts Centre and are fully accessible to wheelchair users. Disabled parking is available at the front of the building and disabled toilet facilities are also available on the ground floor. Please phone us on 029 2034 1667 if you require any assistance.
