Ffotogallery has been working with Skillset over the past couple of years to develop a programme of seminars to support photographers starting out on their freelance career and seeking business skills and information. We have so far run three partnership events which focused on starting up a business, Copyright and Business Marketing. Speakers included Gwen Thomas, the Executive Director of Business and Legal Affairs from the Association of Photographers, Flexible Support for Business Wales, Lovegrove Consulting, Wales Artist Resource (Warp) amongst others.
Participants have benefitted from the information, resources and networking with industry contacts. The seminars have laid the foundations for future work that will benefit the photo imaging community.
