A cross-curricular visual arts project which aimed to examine Welsh Culture within the context of international travel with a particular emphasis on language. We worked with five Welsh language primary schools from the Vale of Glamorgan.
The project provided a means to engage pupils from each school in creative self-directed learning process which enabled them to address issues of identity, culture and environment, through a visual art context, whilst developing skills in digital media and creative technology.
During the workshops the pupils created a substantial body of artwork for public exhibition at Cardiff Airport.
