Throughout 2008, Ffotogallery has continued to maximise its resources and reach children from as wide a catchment as possible.

In collaboration with Arts Active, Ffotogallery commissioned film-maker Anne Siegel to work with residents of Gabalfa, to produce a space-age projection piece set 100 years in the future.

In July 2006, Ffotogallery were presented with the prestigious Chrisi Bailey Award for their work on the Forest Farm Virtual Nature Reserve project.

Working with photographic & new media artists, 60 primary school pupils developed content and considered the design of The Forest Farm Virtual Nature Reserve website.

During 2006, Ffotogallery had the unique opportunity of partnering with Artes Mundi, to produce a series of large-scale photographic images with participants from St Mellons Daycentre.

Ffotogallery has been offered the exciting opportunity of working with the Cardiff Arts Support Team (CAST) and four of the leading Arts Organisations in Cardiff, to support the development of the ArtsMark award scheme for Wales.

Pupils from Stanwell School in Penarth had the unique opportunity to work with Ffotogallery, in pilot workshop programme that aims to promote the use of digital media in the GCSE and A Level syllabus.

Working with professional dance and video artists, six schools from across Cardiff took part in Dance Island.

As part of a Conference organised by Cardiff Council’s Schools & Lifelong Learning Service, over 200 teachers and pupils took part in an exciting event, exploring the themes of creativity and cultural diversity through a range of artistic practices.

Commissioned by the National Grid For Learning Cymru, Ffotogallery had the fantastic opportunity to work with three Cardiff-based primary schools to develop Ffoto:Story, a free online creative IT resource for teachers and workshop leaders.
