This visually stunning landscape intervention was the closing event to Ffotogallery’s Vision On season in December 2009. The project's strong community involvement made this dynamic light installation in the water surrounding Penarth Pier possible.

This was a major international commission and socially engaged project using social networking technologies to solve Wales' day to day problems with the help of an international network of think tanks who proposed on the street actions.

Throughout 2009 Ffotogallery has continued offering Teacher Inset Day sessions facilitated by Careers Wales in the fields of Photography and New Technologies.

In summer 2009, Ffotogallery ran an inter-generational collaborative photography project between Plasmawr School and Plas Bryn residential home, exploring the notion of place, identity and memory through photo collage portraits.

Pupils from Allensbank Primary School worked with Ffotogallery to learn digital video skills. They transformed their award winning poetry into individual short film pieces as part of the ArtsMark national award scheme.

In collaboration with Arts Active, Ffotogallery commissioned film-maker Anne Siegel to work with residents of Gabalfa, to produce a space-age projection piece set 100 years in the future.

In July 2006, Ffotogallery were presented with the prestigious Chrisi Bailey Award for their work on the Forest Farm Virtual Nature Reserve project.

Working with photographic & new media artists, 60 primary school pupils developed content and considered the design of The Forest Farm Virtual Nature Reserve website.

During 2006, Ffotogallery had the unique opportunity of partnering with Artes Mundi, to produce a series of large-scale photographic images with participants from St Mellons Daycentre.

Ffotogallery has been offered the exciting opportunity of working with the Cardiff Arts Support Team (CAST) and four of the leading Arts Organisations in Cardiff, to support the development of the ArtsMark award scheme for Wales.
