New micro-gallery at Ffotogallery

We're pleased to share news that we're launching a new space at Ffotogallery: Vitrine Collections

Vitrine Collections is a place for the presentation of research and archival materials, making them accessible to the public through considered display.

Positioned as a shared and/or collaborative research space, Vitrine Collections invites artists, photographers, researchers and curators to assemble and present ideas, fragments, and findings. Here, materials are not only displayed but also reactivated, opening up new ways of seeing, reading, and connecting. 

As part of our commitment to building Ffotogallery as a centre of visual research, we're thrilled to launch Vitrine Collections with a selection of photos documenting performances, exhibitions and select works from the joint archives of the Cardiff-based arts collective tactileBOSCH and its infamous director, the Welsh artist, photographer and curator, Kim Fielding, who passed away in 2014.
