Pink Portraits 2025

The Iris Prize and Ffotogallery, celebrates the core values of Bad Wolf Studios a strong sense of family, collaboration, and the recognition of those who are often behind the scenes.

In partnership with the Pink Portraits Project, the focus is on spotlighting individuals from the LGBTQ+ and Trans community—amplifying voices that too often go unseen or unacknowledged in the industry.

Following the success of Dylan Lewis Thomas’ Pink Portraits commission in 2023, and Sarah Scorey’s Pink Portraits commission for Transport for Wales in 2024, applicants were invited to create new portraits of some of the staff and crew at Bad Wolf Ltd who are part of Wales’ LGBTQ+ community.

Siân Addicott, Director of Ffotogallery said, “Ffotogallery is delighted to be collaborating once again with Iris Prize for this edition of Pink Portraits in partnership with Bad Wolf. Representation is vital in inspiring emerging talent and fostering the next generation of creatives. The LGBTQ+ community has historically been underrepresented in visual archives, making this initiative an invaluable opportunity for a photographer to create a new series of portraits that amplify LGBTQ+ visibility and contribute to a more inclusive record of Wales’ cultural history.”
