The Ffoto Cymru Portfolio Review Day will take place in person at Ffotogallery on the 16th October. Each review will last 20 minutes.
If you are unable to attend in person due to disability / chronic illness, we may be able to accommodate an online session: if that’s the case, please get in touch with Radha stating the name of your preferred reviewer: ffotocymru.coordinator@ffotogallery.org
This opportunity is not available for students or those in full time education.
What you need to know:
Portfolio Reviews are a unique opportunity to network and get valuable tips from experts. These are fine art portfolio reviews - not a commercial opportunity (i.e. you won’t sell work or be offered an exhibition by the end of it).
Review slots are strictly limited to 20 minutes. Reviewers are unable to look at video or time based work as part of these portfolio reviews.
These reviews are for photographers / artists with existing professional experience and those looking for feedback on sharing their work with new audiences. This opportunity is not open to students or those in full time education.
You do not have to share a finished project. You could show work in progress and research material that explores ideas rather than outcomes, but this must be edited to 10 images that shows your best work, interest or focus.
Edit carefully to receive the most from your time - your project will be reviewed on the strength of the series as a whole, not as individual photos.
How to sign up:
Select your reviewer by purchasing a free ticket via eventbrite. You'll then be directed to a personalised calendar link where you can select your prefered time slot. Reviewers and time slots are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
Please note: Each person may book one portfolio review slot only. Please purchase one ticket per person. Multiple bookings for the same person are not permitted.
