About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Volunteers Coordinator / Intern to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain meaningful, practical experience in arts engagement and volunteer coordination within an inclusive visual arts setting.
We have received support from the Wales Council for Voluntary Action for this role, and to develop our volunteer offer, to work towards achieving the Investing in Volunteers standard (https://investinginvolunteers.co.uk/).
The Volunteers Coordinator will lead on developing sustainable ways of working with volunteers, with everything from speaking with people about volunteering; listening to what they would like, and what they need; bringing people together as volunteers at Ffotogallery, and ensuring that they have a say in what they do, and how they can contribute to what we do.
The Volunteer Coordinator will also connect with various communities, groups and other organisations to provide ongoing opportunities for collaboration and co-delivery of volunteer-driven initiatives.
The role will support the conversation, recruitment, coordination, and development of our volunteer network, as well as contribute to Ffotogallery’s wider public-facing work, taking place at evenings and weekends.
