Ffocws 2023: Line-up announced

Ffocws is an initiative launched by Ffotogallery in 2022 to support early career artists in and from Wales working with photography and lens-based media. Following the success of the first edition, we are delighted to announce that Ffocws will be returning later this year.

After surveying graduate shows from Higher Education Institutions across the country, we can now announce that ten outstanding projects by graduating students have been selected to be included in a group exhibition, opening on 23 November.

Furthermore, four more artists will be displaying their work alongside the selected graduates as part of the Higgins Photography Initiative, in partnership with Cardiff MADE. They will be supported to develop their career path and practice through a tailored, six-month professional development programme which includes a series of talks, peer critiques and mentoring by professional photographers.
