Suzie - Unseen

Unseen

We are thrilled to open Suzie Larke’s exhibition Unseen this week! The exhibition addresses issues of wellbeing and resilience, and uses photography to help people express their experiences of mental struggle.

The exhibition will run from 30th June until 17th July; our gallery opening times are Wednesday – Saturdays 12pm – 5pm.

Booking to view the exhibition during the day is not necessary, but there is still time to secure your ticket for the opening event tonight (including the launch of Suzie’s new publication). Click here to book.

The gallery is fully COVID compliant; face masks should be worn at all times unless the wearer is exempt, and hand sanitiser is available throughout. We encourage visitors to download the NHS COVID-19 App and scan the QR code as you enter the gallery.

We look forward to welcoming you to the gallery!

Photography and Africa: More Than A Number

Part of our Photography and Africa Series, we are excited to be launching More Than a Number on 14th July 2021. This project invites the audience to engage with the exceptional and thought-provoking work of eleven photographers from across Africa. It encourages us to look deeply and clearly into the face of the individual in front of you and engage in a conversation. It is centred around three themes: Representing Fearlessness, Zones of Contact, and Radical Sociality, which will be explored with the featured artists through a series of symposiums and features on Ffotoview. The first symposium will be held via zoom on Wednesday 14th July, 2-4pm, and will feature discussion with artists and curators involved in the project.
