The Valleys Project: Between Photographs & Memory
A playful but informative look at Ffotogallery’s The Valleys Project, from Dr Paul Cabuts, one of Wales’ leading authorities on the photographic history of the South Wales Valleys. Paul is a practising photographer and Honorary Research Fellow at National Museum Wales.
The Valleys Project was established by Ffotogallery in 1984, and now forms the Valleys Archive, a collection of over 450 prints by 10 photographers, creating an extraordinary portrait of areas in South Wales during a time of social and industrial change.
